what should i do

95 Civic_ex

so the other day i seen a 91 honda civic si for sale for 649 at my local junk yard i ask the people their they said it runs good but i wasnt able to start it up they were busy. the car looks good its has a small dent on the passanger side other than that the body is good. the inside is ok and can be brought back to life with some cleaning and the dash has a crack in it but other then that the car looks like it can be turned into a very nice honda. oh yea 5 speed what should i do try and get it or just leave it alone i will try to upload so pics

u have to check it out, look inside the engine, check the oils, started up, test drive it. test the transmission. look at the tire wear, break wear.

first thing i would do is get a carfax report if that checks out get a compression test also check vins make sure there are no stolen parts on it.

For $650 dollars I will look at the car for you and tell you if it's worth buying. ;)

Short answer: Probably not. A) It's in a junk yard for a reason b) it's been sitting awhile probably c) a better car can be had for not a whole lot more without either problems A or B.
