what rear seats do i have????

hey guys. i have some rear seats that came with my ek hatch 98. the seats where not bolted in at the time, and i am putting them back in and noticed that they dont line up correctly...

they look like they came out of a integra or something or 00 ek(if the seat setup is different). each side has a prong sticking out from it facing the frame on the bottom of the back cushion. this prong looks like it would go into the center but instead its on the other side. if that prong was not there everything would line up and fit. the prong faces the frame and hits it.

the other thing i noticed is that the seat back does not have a bracket to bolt to the frame like the 96 civic coupes have. the bracket has three holes 2 for the seat and 1 big one for the frame. on my frame there is bolt hole for the bracket to be mounted. the rear setup is exactly like my 96 coupe but the seats look like they are from another car.

the middle of the frame there is a bracket welded in. this is typically where a prong would go in for the seats. also the bench is fine. just the top seat back is funkified.


does anyone have an idea what these seats are from and how i can mount them in without to many mods....

and a site on how to do this. not finding any good info online.

i already reupholstered them so they got to go in. thanks

also, from the link, notice the prongs sticking out.
in the picture the top seat back is swapped. the left side is the right and the right is the left....

whoever posted that picture is a jackass.

he has the left on the right, and the right on the left, making the "Hole in the center". those "pullers" on the top of the seat are what lets you unlock the seat and lets you gain access to the trunk, and they go on the OUTSIDE. plus, the stitching lines up on the seats.

do you have them backwards?

and they look like 4dr ITR seats.

ya everything is lined up. im not that stupid to mix up the sides..... lol

that guys dumb... also, the seat slides in perfect until you hit that prong to the frame. unless people are swapping out foam cushions. i doubt there is a way for this to bolt in....

without seeing pictures, my first guess is to cut that b***h off. f**k it
