Constructive Criticism for my Hatchy

Sooo, I have a 1993 DX Hatchback with a piece of s**t 1.5 L non-vtec motor. Car has no balls what so ever, but it would make a nasty project car. I used to have a 1994 4 door integra LS that i crashed and sold the motor out of it... Now I saw the kid who i sold the motor to and he still has it in the same hatchback as me, except his is completely rusted out... the motor is mint, other then the 18x,xxx miles on it, who even knows to be honest, but his car also has a rear disc brake conversion kit, sway bars, brand new struts all the way around, and a GSR 5 speed tranny. The issue is that he doesn't want to part it out and he wants $2000 for the whole car, which i don't think is worth it at all, so I was wondering if anybody here thinks it is worth it. If not i was gonna try to find a B18B1 or a B18C1 somewhere else and swap that in, and on that note, does anybody know where i could find a nice B18 for not too much.. Like $1000 or less?

I have a red civic, stock si rims, p.o.s cannon that burns my bumper.. and no coilovers or springs!
