haha but to be completely honest the majority of them are (at least in l.a.)
i know i know, i hate to say it! apologies to my fellow members with hispanic descent!
not ALL are ricers. just most.

no other city than l.a. will you find hondas, toyotas, mitsubishis, and suburus
with wide-as-f**k bodykits, big-as-f**k chrome rims, loud-as-f**k sound systems,
and bright-as-f**k neons all over the f**king place.

IMHO ricers immitate "the fast and the furious," not jdm style.
these guys saw the movie(s), went to the nearest autozone/pepboys,
bought short-rams, fart cannons, wings, leds, etc. and thought they could race vipers and ferraris,
until they actually pull up to one and s**t their pants.
and they do all this to try to impress others...which doesnt f**king happen, obviously.

and to get back on track with this thread,
being non-ricer, IMO, is "tastefully" modifying your car to your own liking.
overdoing it and trying to show off are the early signs of ricer-mentality.

You know... I have a body kit, but I am actually going to get rid of the hideous side skirts, mirrors, and side fenders. I am going to change the front bumper because it is broke. And hope a diff paint job. I will also work on Engine Soooo. Hate my car all you want I love it... and I know what it might look like in future

well my civic is far from ricer then , i hate body kits and wings . i dont have a huge fart cannon , and i even ditched the gay ass m3 side mirrors for some 78 monte carlo side mirrors . i do though loike alot of chrome and billet , but under the hood . there is nothing wrong with painted interiors as long as its done well . take a look at most of the cover trucks in mini truckin and all you see is smoothed and painted ineriors .
