What to buy first?

Hi. I am trying to start installing a turbo kit on my 95 civic D16z. Just wondering what should i buy first. I just don't want to bolt on a turbo and have it blow gaskets and stuff. If you can help me out or give me some advices i would appreciate it. Thank you.

i would say build the engine then upgrade fuel system and such do it right the first time buddy

Compression test it make sure it's healthy b4 yu even consider getting a turbo set up for it

Where can i get a compression test done?

any shop can do it i think you can also buy/rent the right equipment to do it

What ^^ said. AutoZone (as much as they sometimes suck) will rent you the compression test set. (Well at least my local AutoZone will; I'm assuming others will as well.)
