yea i have that downloaded. I just havent downloaded any other OS's yet. I've also been told Mint is nice. We need a OS thread now.

mint is just another debian build, just like ubuntu.. it also comes with a lot of functionality out of the box and is a good alternative to ubuntu, as far as debian linuces come... an OS thread would be nice.

so i think its time for me to switch OS's on my laptop. its only got windows 7 starter. and i dont like how locked down it is. i'd also love to learn a bit more about windows 7 themes. where do you guys get them. etc.

Get 7 Ultimate then you will like it. I currently run that on my PC.

You cant use just spaces but if you just use ALT+0160 it works...

I have 7 on my desktop. and its cool n all. but im not payin that much money to upgrade to ultimate. plus 7 seems like it might be a lil bit of a hog for a netbook.
