B / C - Pillar bars help

so its about time for me to get started stripping my tints off and slapping on the Old pillar bar across the interior giving it that seckys aggressive look.. how ever i can not seem to find a Pillar bar for it..

im being told C pillars are for hatch backs so they go all the way in the back...

I have a 97 coupe and im looking for the bars that go right behind the passenger/ driver seats which from what they say is a B Pillar but ive yet to find a place online that has them.

Im going for appearance. So Ebay is Approved

I measured the distance from each seat belt bolts.. it is give or take 47-48 1/2 Inches.

once again just going for appearance and intending on painting it red anyways.

any one know any places/ sites or products?

I have a c pillar bar in my 95 coupe it goes across ur rear seats by the headrests itbwill connect between ur upper rear seat belt brackets. A b pillar bar would connect right behind ur front seats across the upper seat belt brackets

I rarely hear it referred to as a b pillar bar. Try searching under "harness bar". Sparco or NRG should have one.

yeah looking for the one that goes behind my seat pretty much middle of the car... those are secksy.. its like 48 inches and all the cpillars ive looked at are under 45 inches

I was wrong on the bar. It seems that harness bars and b pillar bars vary.

Harness bars have spots for race harnesses and it doesn't look b pillar bars have them.

i seen this one earlier tonight searching but its for a 92-95 and ive got a 97.. and it doesnt disclose the size

okay so with some more research.. i found that c Pillar for an 02-05 RSX will work as a B pillar for a 8th Generation Civic....

if anyone has an 8th Gen Civic...Can you measure your B pillar to B pillar... ( passenger to driver seltbelt ) for my 6th gen it is about 46-48 inches.. .. let me know.. thank you

NP.

From what I have read, it will work just fine.

I have also read that c pillar bars from a coupe will fit a sedan with a little possible trimming of the panel plastic where the bolts are.

I got thinking today.. What about Fabricating a bar?? or Customizing one... for example send dimensions to a company and show them the design and see if they can make one... any one have any idea of places that would do that ??
