idk about the selling stuff from yardsales idea lol.

i kinda have the same mentality. i buy used car parts, especially jdm parts thinking i can turn around and profit on them. i just end up with what looks like a damn junk yard in my back yard and never sell s**t. its all about to go to the dump. kinda sad to see all these super sought after parts go to the dump, but nobody is buying s**t anymore and it sucks.

definitely makes it hard to get extra cash lol
What are you buying...I do the same thing over on 247 and make more money selling parts on there then I do at my job...I think a lot of it is buying for rarity...you can get JDM parts, but without there already being a desire and want for them, nobody is going to want them...it is all about selling things you know for sure people are looking for...when people put up big partouts, I have offered to buy it all at huge discounts, just to sell it a few weeks later for more...sometimes people just don't want to deal with it though...

learn how to tint windows, its a little time consuming and a pain in the ass to get the hang of, but once you get good at it you can make some serious bank. the only hard windows to do are the backs. you can get a how to dvd on ebay for a buck.

I'm just an average guy with a HS-Diploma. Pretty hard to find stable jobs in hawaii offering good pay if you dont atleast have a few years of college. It sucks here. But thanks for the info, Much appreciated.

I was thinking of this also. Was probly going to find someone to teach me how to tint professionally. Reason being there is a few companies down here that are pretty big to compete with & Don't see myself stacking up to them.

Good post , thanks man

well it depended on what I was doing. For example debadging a civic i would charge 15 to 30 bucks. or stereo installations 50-70 dollars.

how do you bake the rims once you've powder coated them?
you have to use a special kinda powder, you basically can spray the powder on of dust it on and then paint and bake. about 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes and let cool and your good to go

i know how it works but what do you use to bake it, i know a regular oven can be used for smaller stuff, but what about the larger rims?

i have pretty much tried giving the whole clip and extra parts away from a 91 rx7 but it costs way too much to ship. if someone would come pick it up, they could have everything for really cheap....
