I've read UPS' website and I know depending on the service you get, they do in fact deliver on Saturday. I got Next Day Air. I purchased Wednesday afternoon and it should've shipped out Thursday to be at my house by Friday, but there was a problem with my credit card and it didn't ship out until today. Their website says Saturday commitment is included with Next Day Air but do you have to get a special ticket or request to include Saturday? Or is it included with all Next Day Air services?

you have it wrong, next day air does not include saturday, it will be delivered monday, unlees there is a holiday. You have to purchase Saturday service. It is marked with an "S". It is not cheap, it is fairly pricy compared to the next day air. there is also EAM, early AM deliversy marked with a "1+" . this means it will get delvred first thing in the morning. combine EAM with Next Day Saturday = Mega big bucks, this is used for the delivery of body parts, urgent documentation, ...etc

That sucks... I was at work so I couldn't fix my credit card problem until after work and by then, it was too late. Their Thursday delivery time had already gone and passed
. Damn...Work at a UPS Store and this dude sent out a document for EAM, costed him $128.24 for 9:00AM.

Im not trying to be picky. The whole entire time, this all just seemed redundant. Your first post said that it was included, but you didnt know if it was included. The other post said that it was included, but you need to pay extra for it. Not like Im trying to pick apart every little grammar mistake, but the information was just redundant. If Saturday delivery is AVAILABLE for next day delivery, thats a totally different story. I just sincerely did not understand the message.

A customer called and NEEDED their plates asap. Finance f'ked up and didn't send them out when they came in and I had to send them today and make sure they get there tomorrow. The saturday charge cost the finance department almost $50. They tried to have my department eat the cost claiming that it was a shipping/receiving problem. Unfortunately for them, they get the plates from corporate so our department never touches them until they go out. Not our fault, not our problem.

And I'm too lazy these days to take new pictures for that contest lol. I started a new job and my hours went from 9-5 to 7-3:30. I'm usually in bed by 10 now, still take naps ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours between getting home from work and going to sleep at night... I'm just a vegetable now. Hours are killing me. But I love them.

They should have at least SOME drivers, even a couple, to do Saturday deliveries only for things that arrive to them on Saturday that's supposed to be delivered by Monday. Pay them overtime, 25% difference, whatever. s**t I'd do it for overtime if I was a driver. $$$$. I just worked today 5am-11am for $17.50/hr. Not much but it's still hella more money I'd make than if I was sleeping in.
