On October 30, Attack of the Show host Kevin Pereira announced that DirecTV will drop G4 out of its channel lineup on November 1: "G4 has tried to make this same deal for over 3 years but DirecTV has rejected this, claiming that they do not see the value in G4." This event happened on November 1. On DirecTV's official website, they state simply that they were unable to reach an agreement, but are continuing to negotiate with Comcast.[31]

they did this with versus last year... but has since reached an agreement and versus is back on directv

It's because Comcast, being the greedy littleshit heads they are, think that G4 needs more money than they are worth.

I've already heard of a handful of people dropping DirecTV because they dropped G4.

i remember thinking when that channel first aired it was going to be cool and interesting but it turned out the complete opposite . it could have been alot better i definitely won't miss it.i wonder what will take its place probably another lesbian channel that plays nothing but xena warrior princess.

g4 needs to be back to what it was.... who ever thought this mtv like show list would work is a f**king retard! I miss the screen savers, g4tv.com, some times I liked watching arena, filter was alright, whatever that show was where they just showed game trailers I liked alot! That weird guy that had that late night talk show was awesome, um brainiac, if they get just like half of these back it'll be great!

Attack of the show was ok when it first came out, but they quickly f**ked it up!
