So yeah, was saving up to swap my engine..got Ito a fender bender that raped my front end. I had a whole be front en put on and painted. There goes my engine swap fund. I'm driving normally today accelerating after the red light went green and I hear click click click spun a bearing. Car mocks like a champ above 2.5k rpm. But no I have no money to swap it. I now own 1 big paper weight. I'm thinking about pushinbit into the ocean and seeing if it floats.

that happened to me 2-3 years ago....i was without a car for a month while i was lucky enough to find a decently running z6, swap it in with a couple extra goodies. Keep your head up bro!

My motor is on it's way out too. Just rolled 213k and I still haven't done the 2nd timing belt (first was done at 110k). Everything is getting louder and less smooth lol.
I'm hoping it'll last until I can save up for a new motor or better yet, a new car. I'd get out of the Honda game.

My friend's parents owned one of those Legacy's. It was a wagon with the turbo charged motor (GT or something)? The thing had problems out the ass according to them. They went through 3 sets of injectors in 1 year and a few other misc engine problems they kept running into. They didn't own it for more than a year or so. It was definitely pretty quick though. I loved that thing.
2.5GT? They probably just had a bad one.
I haven't had a single problem with mine other than the head gasket.
I love my car too (even though its non turbo) and it still runs like a champ but if I don't get that fixed soon it's going to lead to a lot more problems.

well, i live near orlando... if you want help swapping another SOHC in id be glad to help.
also, i have a Z6 head, and a disassembled Z6 bottom end, bearings, pistons (i think), and harnesses ect i can hook you up with a good deal.
