I finally got a job at a big company as a contractor (AKA temp, 12 month contract, when 12 months are up, you leave the company but can come back if they call you. Or you can get hired as a regular employee) and this is my 4th week in. I REALLY like my job. I'm a "material handler" AKA stockroom person. I just go through job lists, get the parts together and either give it to assemblers to build it, or bag/tag it and ship it out. I actually really like to organize things, even at home, so this job fits me very well. Very easy, no brain required. Plus, I've been told by MANY people that I am a very hard worker, I put my best effort at whatever I attempt/do, and I actually care about the quality of the job unlike most people. A lot of the office people I work with have already acknowledged my hard efforts and constantly thank me for making their job easier.
But it absolutely amazes me how many people are pieces of motherfucking s**t. There's another guy I work with that is a material handler as well. He's been there for 3 weeks longer than I have. We have our own little area. He pisses me off every f**king day. Every Friday, he cleans up 45 minutes early then sits there and twiddles his thumbs. Lately, he's been on his phone a lot. Now I can understand emergencies or family business... But walking away for 10-20 minutes at at time, multiple times a day, multiple days a week? Really? Just go home dude. Stop stealing money from the company. Or when he's actually working on something, he works ssssooooo sssllllloooowwww. Now I know everyone has their work pace. But this job seriously requires no brain. And he takes his sweet ass time. If we worked on the same exact job, I can guarantee I'd get it done at least 3-5 times faster. And he has NO COMMON SENSE. COME ONNNNN. When he does something wrong, he blames it on the person who trained him. "Well I never got a proper training". I don't give a flying f**k. You can't be trained to have common sense. Figure s**t out on your own. Don't rely on people to hold your hand. He told me, "You're a really good worker. You learned really fast". Yeah no s**t you dumbfuck, I have common sense and can put 2 and 2 together and learn how the system works. You rely on someone to tell you how to put 2 and 2 together. Good God.
Not only him, but other people I watch work at this company. How the hell do some people have jobs that they have?
Motherfucking piece of s**t cock ass b***h!!!!! Don't care if this gets closed. I have to vent this because I seem to be one of the very few people at all the jobs I've worked with who give a flying f**k about actually working and not being a piece of s**t. Even at my previous jobs, so many people got hired and left within a few weeks (sometimes shorter). Really? It's not hard. Just do it. People are so lazy. I actually asked my boss today if I could have over-time. Yeah, I actually want to work MORE than 40 hours a week. It's a new thing these days.
