They've got plenty of power. If you're playing hardcore... almost any hit on the body with any rifle is a 1 shot kill. If you're playing non-hardcore, there are one or two that are one shot kill weapons so long as you get a chest or head shot.

I'm actually starting to find some places to snipe... though I still hate that there's no long range level.

I dunno if anyone else getting this problem, but I can't plant claymores. I press up and press R1 and my gun comes out spraying bullets. I repeat but this time press square and nothing. I repeat and no matter what button I press or hold, my claymore won't plant!

Super frustrating!!

Did you go into options and see if the controller set up says something? Aside from that, I don't know. Everything works fine for me, but I'm on the xbox.

Yeah, I tried at default settings and changed them around. Still nothing. My friends have no issues with it either.

ok game has been out long enough for this question, what do you believe is the best gun in the game/ best second weapon, best class overall i suppose, your goto, the one that you could play on all maps?

kill streaks change often but that is what i have now, i cant stand that my kill streak rewards dont go to my kill streak though, it bugs me.


oh and side note, i am getting quick scoped like mad in this game, the hit marker wont even be near me and i die, wtf is that s**t?

^^You should mention which game mode you play too. I find different weapons are more suitable for different game modes, especially when it comes to sniper rifles.

I use the Famas across all game types. Hardcore, it's silenced w/ red dot. Non-hardcore, I just use the red dot.
All of my classes have ghost and ninja. Hardcore, I use warlord. Non-hardcore I use hardened.

Sniper rifles - I use the PSG1 for hardcore, the L96 for non-hardcore

Killstreaks are RC-XD, Care Package, Gunship

I rented the game to decide if to buy/or not, and I'm not buying it........the game it's ok, but didn't like it overall.

Going back to MW2

G11 with no attachments is the best gun in the game, its the classified assault rifle.

For perks I like Ghost, Sleight of Hand or Warlord and Hacker.

No real need to run ninja right now since the sound sucks.

On tight maps i run the AK74U with either the Python or CZ75(the last pistol, not sure if the name is right)
Bigger maps i switch constantly between all the assault rifles and cant wait for the Commando. Most AR's i dont run a sight and but put tubes on instead.

My perks change around except for sleight of hand. I like hardline and hacker now as my perks. I like using the tomahawk, concussion grenade, and C4

Ok.... black ops is awesome... All the weapons, perks and care packages like the black bird and the anti aircraft missiles are awesome! If you do not own it then it sucks to be you!



Oh yeah... check out my brother's emblem on black ops....

The game is growing on me. I still have my dislikes about it... but I've come to enjoy it overall.

I got about 4-5 games in on multiplayer. I think I will grow to like it once I gain access to some more weapons, and get more money.

You should only be able to replay a certain map so many times....this is my fourth time on nuketown, and I can tell it is far from my last.

^^ Just back out of the lobby if it locks in as nuketown. there's plenty of time to leave before the game starts
