okay..
95 eg w a stock 97 ls in it.
it ran super clean until i picked up a new battery.
so i put in a new battery and when i started my car it started idoling low and knocking a little.
i realized my oil was low from leaving the seafoam in my crankcase too long. it like turned my oil into water and evaporated it. i proceeded to put 30 w in it with oil stabilizer which helped. changed my filter and all. from there it idoled low and wanted to stall until i gave it a bunch of gas and then it would eventually idol high at 1500. when i tried to drive it, it bogged out and stalled. when i tried again it did the same and the idol started bouncing hard. i changed my iacv because it was pretty bad. and gapped and cleaned my plugs. changed my rotor in my dist. as well. then did fuel filter and put in gas cause i was on e with some injector cleaner.
same problem.

now everytime i check my plugs they are black and ive gotten my car to idol at 11000 by messing with the throttle body but when i try to drive it just has no power.
it has no pressure behind it. when i give it gas the rm,s drop.

did i do something internally?
help!

its a ls thats why it has no power:D j/k, listen to ron about that site. thats what i would do

ron: spark plugs are a dry matte black.
paul: ohhhh! you were right, changed it and now it runs. lol

i can drive it if i give it a lot of gas around 5-6k and let out of the clutch slowly. it just gets shaky and trys to stall until i give it a lot of throttle

11000 is high for idle :p

Do you have any vacuum leaks? Any Cel's?

lmao. just a little high.

its coming up as 5 blinks when i do it, so i believe its MAP code standing for manifold absolute pressure. idk

im going to check all my hoses today.. any specific ones to check?

so i unplugged the map when it started bouncing again and when i plugged it back in it stopped.
it sounded okay so i drove it around the parking lot and it drove practically normal until i got to around 5-6k.
when i gave it a lot of throttle it would bogg out and slow down.
if i kept it at low throttle and shifted at low rpms it drove descent.
its almost as if its fuel related. my pump turns on fine.
i hear it when i turn my key. could it still be malfunctioning?

i have the same extremely low idol every time i turn it on.. and when i mess with the idol and map it fixes or starts bouncing idol again.
if it does fix i just cant give it full throttle or it sputters and rpms drop.
help!

so i unplugged my map and now it starts up to a descent idle. when i leave it on it bounces.
now when i drive it its all good until i hit second gear and give it a good amount of throttle. the rpms drop and it feels like i have a clogged gas line or something. my coolant hoses feel semi empty and soft when the cars on too. could there be gunk in a coolant line causing this?
any input helps

seafoam also kills o2 sensors... not to mention I seafoamed my car, and blew my motor almost the next day, assuming because it thinned the oil out on me. will never use seafoam again, lol..
