ok as you know im new to this site and to the tuning scene in general so i had a few questions. I have a 94 civic coupe with a d16z6 in it with a few bolt on parts (nothing special) and wanted to get into messing with the suspension because the car just simply needs the work. The car needs the lower control arm on the front passenger side to be replaced and i was going to go ahead and replace both sides with aftermarket parts and was wondering what brand would some of you more experiienced guys suggest?? i am on a limited budget and i know i will also need a bushing kit so the best bang for my buck is what im looking for any help would be nice. also im looking to make more power in the low end without forced induction or a dohc swap any suggestions??

go to a junk yard, search honda websites or look for part outs on craigslist. thats the only ways to get parts cheap. building a nice project car costs money. if u dont have the money, then dont attempt to build a car up until u got the $$$$ to do it.

last time i checked their aint no such thing as a aftermarket lca. they have aftermarket uca from skunk2,blox, etc.i would recommend getting the energy bushings kit it reduces body roll and gives it that stiff feel. if you have the $ like stated above it costs thousands to build a decent looking car sit down and plan what you want.do you want a track car, or a fast dd,or even autox. and start from there.

Theres both omni power front lca and hardrace front lca's that you could get. Both are pretty expensive but I don't know of any other companies that make them for Hondas. As for bushings, if doing the whole car you could go with Energy Suspension, Hardrace, or Suja-1 Motoring. I think all are pretty good, from what I've heard at least.
