Ok, so I want to get rid of my body kit and go factory...

Well, I finally decided to check a Salvage yard near me, and well I called ahead of time and the guy asked what parts I wanted.

I started naming side skirts, mirrors, front bumper, back bumper, etc...

He then says "Oh, umm... we don't tell the parts we have..."

I was thinking to myself *wtf*

Anyways... I had went all the way there to check it out, turned out we had to pay to get in, then to top it all off, they had ONE 96 Honda Civic, with NO USEABLE PARTS... NOTHING, I REPEAT - NOTHING.

Everything was broke, or someone had taken the s**t already. FLM. Waisted Gas, money, and excitement.

i dont see why ur all mad. for one, as we all know honda parts are a hot comodity. so a wrecked honda at the junk yard, the parts go very quick. second, the reason the guy didnt tell u what they have is because he doesnt know the entire inventory of all the junk cars there. plus he doesnt know what parts are still left on the cars. another point, ALL junk yards charge to go in. some days they may have 1/2 price entrance fee or free entry. but if its none of those days, expect to pay. if you want to go back to stock, id recommend buying new parts. i know where i am located there is a place called CERTI-FIT and they sell replacement OEM parts and they are very reasonable prices. i think they do ship, but im not sure. just google certi-fit and check out their website. or look for a similar business in your city. if all else fails, look on craigslist for civic part outs. good luck.

The one by me is $2 to get in. Most of the honda's are stripped but lucky for me, sometimes the sedans are untouched.

Junkyards normally charge to get in. Most of them charge one or two dollars, some charge five. You gotta remember dude, they need to make money. They cant afford to tell everybody what parts they have before the person goes in, then let them in for free. They are there to make money. And look on Ebay.

the ones that charge where i live are the ones where you pick the parts yourself and they charge to get in, the traditional junk yards around here dont like to let people in for liability reasons and have guys that work there that pull the parts...

That's the thing... this guy asked me what parts I wanted... then when I told him some, he said "Oh, I can only tell you if we have the car."
