hey everyone, I'm new to the honda world. just bought an 89 lx sedan, non running. apparently the crank pulley came off, but no other major damage... timing belt still intact. I posted in the parts wanted for it.
Using the car mainly as a commuter, can't beat honda mileage! but I would like to have some fun with the car also!

I paid 300 for it. its pretty rough, but there doesn't seem to be any engine damage. I need to get the crank pulley before I can turn the motor over and make sure the timing belt didn't skip a tooth or anything.
as for pics, I'm new to the forum, anyone want to tell me how to do that?

Hey Bro welcome to the site... You can get a crank pulley on ebay.com or possibly craigslist and a junk yard!

Just makes sure not to get a pulley that is an underdrive pulley unless it is Unorthodox racing, they are about the only company that does a weight balanced system that compares to factory to keep your motor in balance.... Unorthodox is about 200-300 bucks....

pretty ugly huh? needs love, but as long as the motor is alright I'm not too concerned about the rest. got a crank pulley and lower cover on order, then I can rotate the motor and check the timing position.
