hi guys.

im thinking of going for a civic soon as im planing to sell my 96 Toyota 4X4 hilux.

i like the 95> civic hatchback and my limit is around the 8k mark, im on my P-plates so it cant be turbocharged.
just wondering if you guys would have any advice on what year and models are good and what to look out for.
Iv been told that Honda's can be expensive to maintain. is that true?

Hondas are cheap to maintain, if yu have 8k can't go boost and want power I'd say 92-95 hatch and drop a k20 in it. High power to weight with new stock car reliability.

Or go with a 2000 si or an s2k

honestly. if you have 8k to spend, there are much better cars to get than honda's. Honestly, and im sure everybody would agree. wrx, srt4, even a gti ;) but seriously, if i wouldv'e had the money i would have bought something else. i bought a 99 si because all i had was 4k. then i sold and bought a gti.

not frill cause civics are easy and super cheap to maintain and make fast. gti's. wrx's are not. still badass cars though. HONDA FOR LIFE!
