What would win in a race ? a 1996 Honda civc ex coupe or a 1996 Acura integra Ls. Also will insurance be way cheaper with the civic?

What? i just didnt know if the weight would affect the outcome.
when you talking stock for stock, i would assume the ls would beat the civic...but c'mon, its a stock car. think about it for a second...1.6 liter vs. 1.8 liter but chances are both drivers cant drive for s**t

Civic insurance is high. I don't know about the Teg but I do know that Civics are expensive on account of the high theft.

Race is kind of a moot point because civics aren't built for racing out of the box. They are COMMUTER cars.

Which one would win a race would be the absolute last thing on my mind when buying one of the 2. That shouldn't be a deciding factor unless you plan on tracking it.

get a older hatchback civic, 92-95 or 89-91 , it wont set you back much money, cheap to mod, easy to work on and insurance is cheap,

I like that idea im just afraid that it will be a waste of money cuz i wont see alot of results without swapping which i dont have the knoweldge or cash to do. btw how much would it cost to swap a y8 head on there?

I've had both and i would go with the teggy if i had to choose again. Overall they are both good cars, so you really can't lose

Unless yu rock a gsr any single cam v and a stock ls Are equally slow. Ls just has torque.
If ur not looking to swap and don't kno much yu won't do anything other then intake/exhaust so I'd go with the civic and save urself te money

Which has more potential? The Integra. However, they are so close that driver error will more than make up for the difference between the two.
