it all depends on the tune. you could get a conservative tune (around 200 whp) which would save you mpg. or you could get an agressive tune. with your setup you could eaily get 300 whp. it all depends on the tuner than works on your car.

Yea that's wat a lot of people tell me that it depends on the tuner! I have a friend he tunes car on a daily base. He made a d16y7 get 220whp on a eBay turbo setup with 7psi. Stock internals just head studs n comedic head gasket. So will see how the billet wheel will work with pump gas and race gas. I'm shooting for 350whp wit race gas. But bisimoto may fly down here to tune some cars so maybe he can get more out of it since he tunes diff. From some tuners. But anyways it's just my daily driver not a race car

go see tony @ T1 race development. Your set up should be able to make 300ish on a stock head

Will see how much power it can make I'm hoping the turbo will make good power wit the stock cam. But if I'm not happy with the results I'll buy a turbo cam right after I have some fun wit some mustangs.

It depends on how much boost you run but 300whp should be no problem. If you get a cam the bisi2.4 cam is the best. And if Bisi would tune your car that would be sick!

Well I'm planning to run 7-10psi on pump gas but on race gas I want to run 17-20psi the 5857 turbo is a good turbo and im hoping the billet wheel will help with spool time. Can somebody tell me at wat rpm would it be at full boost? I think 20psi on this turbo would be like 25+ on a 30r. I'm not sure if that's right. And my friend told me that he may have bisi come till like next yr so there goes that chance wit bisi to tune my car. And idk wat clutch to use any ideas?!

Well I was gonna swap the dual point for a GSR but then my friend said u should build a single cam n boosted. And since he has been working with hondas for awhile I was like screw let's do and see how it performs. I don't want to push 20psi on pump gas idk I just think It may blow to fast and race gas would do better n safer I don't mind buying race gas. U think 30psi on this turbo would blow the d15? Well if it blows I have a USDM D15B non Vtec that in gonna build the bottom end just in case I blow the other one. Oh one more question how much should I TQ the head studs?! 65-75?

we've made great power on vitara single cams. and for the ARP head studs you should torque them to 75ft lbs. 25,50,75 is the sequence

invest into a better engine man
I've seen ppl invest the same amount of cash into a "better engine" n when it comes dwn to it the SOHC is reppin' better numbers. It all depends on wut u do or how but I've seen some quick Singles takin out them "better engines"

Either way we all have our favorites... ;)
