check your vin number. that will tell you if you have vtec or not

all 1996-2000 civic Ex's came in vtec. It's no Vtec if it got a swap. I can tell you if you look at the code on your engine.

Just look for the damn solenoid on the left back side of the engine. No need to go through the trouble of reading your vin number and s**t.
