2000 Si b18c

My dad just bought me a 2000 Civic Si that has alot of mods such as a b18c motor, cold air intake, 2 inch exhaust all the way, volk GT-P rims, carbon fiber hood, racing seats, and more stuff that i dont even know because im new to all of this. this is my first car.

What kind of b18c? USDM or JDM? You will not be able to run HID's youll burn through bulbs like a drag racer does tires, it is because of the wiring difference
The Si lip is gone too what happened to it?
The guy before you painte the tails like my dad did lol

Car is a very reliable car for you which is why i have one as my first ride too lol

its a jdm motor, but im still trying to find out if its GSR or Type -R. how can i tell?
the HID's explain why one bulb's already gone out. i have no idea what happened to the lip. i might get the original tails.

Pop the hood and look at the block right behind the radiator is where you want to look the motor code will be there. b18c1 is JDM gsr, b18c3 is USDM gsr, b18c5 is type r USDM
And yeah haha i was too late haha, you can pick up a lip fo like 80 bucks, and yes go oem tails they are sexy haha

I say get some OEM Si Tails... Get rid of the Pin Stripe, De-badge all but the H in the back...

Get a lip but I say be creative and look at non OEM lips and see what you like or go SI....

Yes that reminds me more bay and interior pics!!! lol
And just as a reply to you i do think it is and si but i do understand why he would question it for it could be just an ex painted which is why it may not have a lip lol

you can tell by the engine code and if it dont have a red valve cover it means two things. 1) its not a type r 2) the red valve cover was painted or sold.

ok the valve cover is black what color is the plug wire cover?

and ok good but you couldve told by the rear seats too si seats have diagonal lines going through them and the interior is darker lol

Ok you knw the valve cover, it is the piece of plastic bolted down in the center. What color is it? it is too dusty for me to tell lol

And you saw the block code there is another one on the head it may have what type of b18.

It is a gsr not a type r, you said it is JDM so it is a b18c1 which puts out 180hp at the crank and 127 lbs of torque, around 160hp at the wheels
And yes si inerior and gauges so its legit

Swap out the headers and powder coated the valve cover, you can powder coat gloss or candy or chrome so you have choices lol
