which 6th gen is faster coupe or sedan?

I was just wondering alot of people seem to like the coupe but im leaning towards getting a sedan and I was wondering which is faster the coupe or sedan? assuming both are 5 speeds and the drivers weight and everything was the same etc etc etc

well the 99-00 model dx the coupe is 2359 and the sedan is 2339 and the ex model the 99-00 sedan and coupe are exactly the same at 2513 so technically wouldnt it be faster if not the same???

If your looking to go "fast".. don't buy a sedan. In the long run, it'll probably be a little slower but it's all up to you.

well i need a 4 door because I have kids but my point is if Im building a car and the weights are pretty much identical is there really a difference if i got a 2 or 4 door other than looks obviously

Which 6th gen is faster stock? Get a 99-00 Si...

If you're gonna do a swap, then it really doesn't matter that much..

Rock a sedan, you won't see much if any real difference between a sedan or coupe with a similar engine... you'll see TINY difference between a y7 and a y8 motor. Honestly if you have kids do what's best to make everything easier... don't worry about try to be like .01% faster and losing two doors, not worth the hassle IMO. Also, if you're building it, it won't really matter anyways.

especially with kids, go sedan
coupe and sedan are almost the same size except with people its a lot easier to have 4 doors
and its always nice to see a nice 4 door 6th gen

the only real difference is aerodynamics...but your probably never going to go fast enough for that to matter a whole lot.
