Hey guys i have a problem with my power door locks in my 1992 eg 4door. Sorry if i write too much, just wanna let you know everything thats going on:
Im in the process of installing an Autopage RF-425 alarm in my car. When i tapped into my power door locks, they didnt work. A guy i work with has a high tech wire tester in which he can give wires charge. When he gave the white/green(white with green stripe) wire going into the power door lock module(found in the driver's door) a positive charge, the locks worked. We then came to the conclusion that the white/green wire supplied constant power. After searching through the driver side door boot, i found that the white/green wire was broken. I reconnected it and checked the input into the module. It had constant. But the locks do not work. I don't understand how it doesn't work now but when my buddy gave it charge it worked.
Any ideas guys? Thanks a lot in advance.
