That's about the price they would sell for around here, if not more. Probably a little more in this area. Si's are very rare here.

How do you know it runs "strong"? Did you have a mechanic look over it? Compression test, leak down test, drive it, inspect it, etc.

In my opinion... no.. 5 Gs is to much for me.. pending on where u live... here in L.A we can get a turbo civic DX that will blow the doors off of a k20 Si for like under 3Gs...

also pending where u live for example
buy a good bodied civic :3,000 TOPS
D series swap = 1,500 (130hp) & Turbo Ready
B series swap = 2,400 (180hp)
i think the 99 si's are running B16s (150hp?)
IMO only thing good about the Si is Real Brake Calipers instead of Drums Other than that eh... i dont need power windows or sun roof... if ucan keep looking if u need one go for it???

If the motor is in as good of condition as he says, 5100 wouldn't be a bad deal in my area. Like I said, car prices vary from region to region.

haha Legal and Bard turbo systems and Swaps are super ass rare for us... almost as rare as hearing a civic with a good exhaust... Ebay headers to Ebay Catback to a Greddy Evo 2 axle back >.<

If the engine is good/strong/no major leaks and the body/interior in good shape, then that is a decent price. I paid about $6000 (I think) for my first EM1 and $6500 for my second. Tell him to make it $5k even and go for it! You'll love the car if you do snag an Si man.

Si in Cali? How many times has it been stolen?
Ha.

If the car is pretty much stock, clean title, and is in good condition internally and externally. I would say it's probably worth $5,000.

Especially since all that work was done recently like the belt, plugs, water pump, etc.
