Get a different car.

Here's thing three things, and you can only have two:
Fast
Reliable
Cheap

Not trying to rain on your parade, but for nasty fast, it's not going to be cheap. If you have the money, by all means, go for it, but if you wanted a car that responds well to bolt ons, and can get fast by bolt-ons, your in the wrong game.

well that's a crock of s**t! :thumbdown

I had all 3 in my 89 hatch. :what:

I bought a d16z6 motor off a 95si, slapped a junkyard turbo kit off a DSM, dyno tuned it with a AFC hack that you all claimed would never last. I also added other misc things like an ACT clutch, traction bar, fuel pump... and it all cost me around $1500 or a little under that and that's including the motor.

I built this about 5 or 6 years ago and sold about a year and a half ago or so to some guy from Norway who had it shipped back. From the last email he sent me just before the summer, my car was still running strong with the same setup I installed. the only thing the new owner did was body work, suspension and wheels.

So all these f**kers on here that claim to know everything... :retard: My car was supposedly going to blow up whitin 6mo of the build because of my tune with my AFC hack.... it's now 2011 and my civic lasted longer than any of their cars or failed projects.

My advice to the op is f**k the haters and research.... that's what I did. There were a few members on here that would help me but alot of those good members are now long gone and we're stuck with these damn haters.

*edit
my car wasn't "nasty fast"... It was just quick imo. I ran mid 14's with bald ass 13in wheels and mid 13's with slicks...
