snow in GA

i live in georgia and it recently snowed and alot of the ice hasnt melted off the ground yet, my only complaint is that everything in the south shuts down if there is a little ice in on the ground i was supposed to start my first day of college monday, but cant and there closed today as well. I can deal with that but i have also missed three days of work messing up my plans of buying more things for my car just my rant for today people in northern states go to work with snow everywhere we shouldnt shut down everything for the weather.

i went from illinois to colorado to TN and your right we got like 4 inches in TN and my sisters school has been out for a week and the whole city is deserted lol

So I live in CO, we got about 12-16in Sunday and nothing got shut down except a couple of schools... If anything we thrive in the snow

I shipped my gauge cluster from my 03 Trailblazer to GA last week, supposed to be delivered on Monday (for repairs), and UPS has shut down... I called UPS not knowing about the snow, and thought to my self "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" We got 4-5 times as much snow and were FINE... Then again it is GA lol...
