Ok, so i painted my valve cover last night took it off and painted it red replaced all the gaskets on it because that was the main point of taking it off this morning i put it back on and used hondahond on each gasket and when i put it back on its not running right anymore, it idles really hard like its having a seizure of some sort and drives like s**t, i figured i put the sparkplug wires in the wrong place but i doubt it im 99% sure they are correct. the car was running pretty great before this and now its just s**t i could really use help. also its a 00 si.

its funny youd say that as i was on the way to pick up my gf after posting this thread i started thinking perhaps my wires and or sparkplugs just went out after me having them off the car overnight.... seems a little ... idk ironic? but im sure its possible but come on any other ideas just in case?

if it also drives like its having a seizure then its the plugs if you put them on wrong you basically mess up the firing order.

Im going to assume you have the d16y8

1 3 < the distributor
2 4

4 3 2 1 < The engine cylinders in this order when you are looking it from the front of car

Did you match the correct wires to the distributor?
