finished the roof a while ago. i think it turned out pretty good.had to rip down the whole sun roof assembly just for that one slide piece!!!
i think i will try that. the red has been bugging me but i didn't know what to do about it.If you did your interior pieces in black, that would really set it off
yeah, the cold does suck, and you have to do this in the summer, unless you have some serious space in a ventilated room. taking it out was about an hour i would say, then another 30min for the sunroof. after that took half a day to get all the fabric perfect. idk, i would set out a whole day for it, that way your not rushed and you can let the glue dry over night too if you want to. it was defiantly not a quick thing. the sun roof is not as hard as it sounds, its actualy about 10 bolts and a few plugs and its out, but you will need two people, well, it makes it way easierI have all the materials to do mine but i hate working in the cold . How long did it take you to do yours?
Yea i cant wait for the warm weather. Im doing mine in black leather
x2...It looks pretty good, a have years wanting to make mine, but I'm too lazy
lol. im just slow i guess. haha. also im kinda new to moding and what not.lol you did the same thing as me except mine is wavy checkered. I also did all my pillars, shift boot, center console lid, and im doing my arm rests in the door panels.
Headliner is the easy part by far, the pillars are hell. If you are doing a headliner without the sunroof it takes maybe two hours if your slow at taking it out and let it dry first. I did mine in about an hour and 15 minutes but i can get my headliner out in less than 10 minutes
Lol i wouldnt say that. You also had a sunroof to do, and if it was your first time taking the interior out like that, it can be a big task. Ive just done it so many times that i can rip it out with my eyes closed and one handed. I feel like i do it every weekend lollol. im just slow i guess. haha. also im kinda new to moding and what not.
