I'm not trying to sound like a cheapster but the cheaper shifter and shift knob is the same exact thing as the B&M shifter let me find a link cause I used to use these a while back..

Mine was a different color and knob but thats the same shifter and it is exactly like my B&M right now.. which I paid a lot for.

Make sure the short shifter you end up buying is made from steel, not aluminum.

Your decision as to whether or not the shift boot is worth it. IMO, it is not worth $25.

Nothing wrong with the grill.

You can get the eBay intake, but I would suggest to throw out the filter it comes with and buy something of quality, like an AEM dryflow.

type r boot is nice. its worth it imo

grill might not sit flush

ebay intake is fine. just get a good filter. theyre just pipes.

I have heard of horror stories regarding aluminum shifters. But as always, ebay is hit or miss with this type of stuff. If it breaks, tow the car home (depending on where is broke) and buy a replacement. I'm sure there are many people who are running the aluminum shifter with no problems though.

You get what you pay for. Simple as that. A cheap shifter will have the bushing wear out in no time.

eBay does have legit parts. You just have to weed through the crap. Don't expect people to loose their ass on parts because you can't/won't spend the money though. You get what you pay for. You want quality you have to pay for it. You go cheap you end up spending more in the long run because you have to do it twice and end up buying the correct part later.

Example: you buy the cheap ass crap shifter for $20. It snaps. You now have a tow bill to pay for rough price of $50. You then buy a quality part like a B&M for $80. Now you are in for ~$150 when you would have just paid $80 for had you done it right the first time. Best case you don't have to tow it, but you still save the $20 by not buying the junk first.

You get what you pay for. Simple as that. A cheap shifter will have the bushing wear out in no time.

yeah thats true..but now i gotta worry about getting my car fixed..i messed up alot of stuff, just glad the airbags didnt go off
