i dont care about costs, or performance upgrade, just looks i dont like the stock ones

so which do you think looks better, im aiming towards kit one

I'm not trying to be a d**k in any way. It's just that WRX's are great cars, and sound amazing and have such a distinct sound with a nice exhaust kit. I would hate to see a cheap ebay exhaust kit take away from the car.

while i agree with what everyone has said above, to answer your question, I think number 1 looks better.

Really, pipes are pipes. You can buy the kit for the piping, but buy and replace the cat and muffler with legit ones.

Pipes are pipes but......welds can break much easier on a cheap exhaust, and the finish will wear down that much quicker. After all the trouble it takes to have another muffler welded on, and the cost of another muffler......I don't see how it benefits to buy an ebay exhaust.

i defiantly agree with you there about the welds and what not, i want a cobb, or perrin but i dont have that kind money unless i get used, my friends wrx has an ebay exhaust against my friends cobb exhaust there really isnt too much difference on the tone and honestly sound just about the same but cobb is just a tad deeper tone, the first one is SRS which is a great brand from what ive researched and have quality stuff so that one reason im leaning towards that one, the other is defiantly a knock off. i agree that WRX should get better than ebay but like stated above SRS isnt bad by any means. Being as im building my civic also (basically from ground up with full paint interior engine build and/or swap) i dont want to throw too much into the WRX for now, just a few goodies like exhaust, rims, headlights, fogs, tint, lip and maybe a few other things here and there so im tryin to stay on a budget for both being my internship is only summer and none of my applications are being accepted anywhere so still no job =/

It's your car, you can do with it what you please.....I have ALWAYS been an advocate of that. I was simply stating what I would do if I had a WRX. If you get either, make sure you post it up. Might I suggest you start a thread in members rides?

i appreciate your input i wish i could get the more expensive stuff thats really worth it i agree with it dosen't deserve egay crap but at this point in my life with little to no money im just tryin to get a new, very much needed exhaust....btw i dont get why people say your as a*****e always been kind to me and only state your opinion in a civilized way...i do plan to post in the members ride section once i get it going with mods i may start it off once i get stickers though

edit: i just want something to get me buy until i graduate college when i can really throw money into it

Don't get a downpipe without getting a tune unless you want to replace your engine. The ringlands don't like running lean.


I just spent the coin on an HKS Silent Hi-Power for my LGT, worth every penny compared to the cheapos.
