The 98 Dx

Today was a super nice day so I finally got around to detailing my car. 1998 Civic Dx with 175k, it's very stock except for some Tein S-Techs that I found out it had. This has been my daily driver for 3 years now and has been up and down the west coast multiple times and I still haven't had a single problem with it in over 30k miles. I noticed today as I was cleaning it that it is really starting to show its age in the paint. crows feet everywhere on the hood and front bumper :( I really want to paint it but being in school full time and not having a job its pretty much out of the question. The few plans that I have for it (not that they will happen anytime soon) are:
Some sort of 16" rims
Ex cluster/Si Cluster (I want a tach)
OEM outer tails, as mine are cracked and are pink at night...
New exhaust (cat is pretty much dead, so I want to get a header and cat back)
PAINT.
Enjoy!

Thanks guys, Its not to bad to look at when its not in direct sunlight or your not super up close. Unfortunately black shows every imperfection and there are plenty of them to be had on my civic. It does look pretty sweet at night, or when it rains though... =)

I like them just fine. Its low enough that looking at it doesn't bother me (as compared to stock height) and its daily driveable enough that I don't have to worry about a lot of the stuff that most guys do when they slam their ride. The car came with them when I bought it a few years ago. All I have to compare it to is my wife's 97 sedan and I think mine is a much better ride performance wise. They are totally different ride qualities, as mine feels more planted and stable especially at higher speeds. Mine is a little rougher of a ride, but that could be due to the fact that they are on stock shocks for many years.
