I never did understand why women got their own name tatted on themselves. I mean, you're more than likely to get married. Men it's a bit understandable, but women, not so much.

LOL true. I guess if they're so proud of their name, I'd seek out the family crest. I want to get my father's so badly, but it's dumb for a girl, and since I'm 1/2 Native and 1/2 Scottish, I'd have no idea which to choose 'appropriately'.

The reason I got mine is bc I'm the last of my blood line... So when I get married, I'll take my husband's name and it's just my way of keeping it with me.

sky you know in genealogy you will still be tracked, i.e. if someone is doing a family tree its not like you fall off it.

Im planning on doing a small gauge in my ears. have had my left ear pierced forever. got my right ear pierced in october. So once its healed up i want to gauge them. looking at nothing bigger than a 10 or 8.

got a snake bite this afternoon

then sat im getting my wedding band tattoo

then next weekend im getting my first tattoo redone and more stuff around it to make it bigger
