Question, is there a way to make the dock easier to work when I have multiple windows open for the same application? Kind of like a windows aero effect, like how it shows previews and you can click on the ones you want? I'm pretty sure I saw that some place before, perhaps an add-on?
I'm not sure if you're using your expose feature. I saw you stumbled on Hyperdock, good program but a little more than need imo. Whatever you have running that you haven't closed can be seen in the same window by using your expose. You can throw the screen, the programs, or individual program windows too. It's under System Preferences>Expose & Spaces>Expose

I love expose because I never have to move my mouse to know what's running. I click my side button on my mouse and viola, it's all there!

And Matt, I'm not sure why you think expose is more work than it's worth. Hyperdock took 'x' amount of time to download, install, configure, learn whereas expose is preloaded, takes like 2 clicks of the mouse to turn on, and works on a way larger scale than hyper dock. But, then again, I have been using a Mac since 2004, I guess I'm a little more used to using the regular UI than having to download things to get it to feel more like Windows. I try my best to never run anything that is Windows based/inspired. I keep my headaches to a minimum that way.

Also all mac users on the forum should download Sophos and scan your mac for malware. It is a free application.

also if you want to use 64 bit mode, you can hold the keys 6 and 4 down when the computer boots right before the apple logo comes on, then release the keys. to verify youve entered 64 bit kernal, click the apple button on top left and hit about mac, then hit more info, when system profiler loads, click software on the left and it will show you if you have entered 64 bit mode.

i just use iChat for a Messenger, iTunes for music, you don't need an application to burn a music cd, just make a new burn folder

Haven't done myself. Don't see the benefit for me to use 64bit.

you must press and hold 6 and 4 together before the apple logo... if you are using mac osx 10 or snow leopard it should work fine...
