Hey yall, Just got my self a 91 Honda Civic Hatchback... i love this car so much... Its not the Best looking thing out there the Red is faded by the sun... but you gotta remeber the car is 20 years old... so its all good. im deff gonan get a new paint job hopefully.. and i want new Rims and tires.. any Sugestions? i know it still has it stock D15 motor and all that... thanx :P

It took me forever to paint my old boosted talon it looked like s**t for long, but would beat just about anything in town.

Yeah the d15 is not a very good motor man if you wanted to swap it and wanted a really cheap alterntive throw a d16y8 in it its the motor i got 1.6 sohc vtec 127 hp while the d15 is 92 hp and dosent respond as well to mods as the y8. IF you really want to make some power you gotta swap a dohc in or boost it though as even though the y8 does some no d series will give you much hp with just simple bolt ons.

if you do it your yourself and replace the timing belt, water pump, tensioner and clutch, throttle cable your look around 2- 3grand if you buy a complete swap from hmotors, I recommend a complete swap, all the little parts will kill your wallet, if you pay someone to do it add the labor
Add about another 1500- 2k if you want to turbo it right

No it will be be around 2000-2500 to get the complete engine and everything you need then because you should do regualr maintence work to that engine as well depending on where you get it from and how throurgh you want to be. plus what someone charges you to put it in you will most likely have 3k or more in it if somebody has to put it in for you.
