havent posted here in quite some time been a member since 2004! just gonna post up a little update of the rides. currently have an nhbp 05 ep3 with a dc race header, 16" rota torques and i just got a set of h&r springs to put on it. also own a celestial blue pearl 91 crx dx restoration project and a brand new 2011 crystal black pearl civic lx-s.

some pics:
old pic still looks the same, since its rolled over to 75k miles i think its time to start modding it.

rescued and brought back from the brink, took me 3-4 months to put back all (or most) the oem parts. reinstalled a/c, charged and is ice cold, its got an mpfi swap with a d16a6 and a jdm rear seat. everything is oem, right down to the honda tape player. only piece im missing is the oem intake tube, one rear mudflap and its got tein springs with kyb agx's.
theres still alot of cleaning and rust repair to do, overall i think its super clean.

before:

after:

notice the back rest doesnt match the bottom, i recovered it myself, also repaired the torn up upholstery on the drivers seat.

the wifes car, sometimes she lets me drive it.

Hey man, welcome back!

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the crsex. I don't know what it is about it. Maybe it's that mixture of boxy and sleek. Maybe it's how light it is. I don't know, but I love them. Yours is no exception. Hope you stick around!

thanks! i spent a lot time cleaning.

the whole idea behind this car is a "restoration" or "restomod" i want to put it back to stock. theres noway im swapping out the d16a6 for a d15b2, lol. thats where the restomod aspect comes in, anything i do to this is going to be replacing oem parts or any mods have to be oem or had been oem options.

i traded a set of gsr wheels for a complete a/c system, like you said the crx has almost reached classic car status and it makes me sick when people screw these cars up! i cant remember the last time i went to a meet and saw a "stock crx". this is my 3rd crx i have built a turbo single cam and had a b16 swapped crx so im done "modding" these things they are so nice in their original form.
