Stereo Install

Ok so i got the stereo all wired up except for the ignition wire i cant find it i found that it is the yellow/red but it is not in my dash area looks like the previous owner really messed the wiring up. Does anyone know were else i can go to tap into the ignition wire? Also is there a dash kit for the ef civics? i was told to use the metal cage it comes with but the cage is not large enough there is space all around it.

you can find the ignition wire from the security harness(green thing), check online for a pinout to find exactly which wire it is. but what happend to your old radio harness? it should have it in there. you can get a dash kit for an ef, look on ebay and stuff and you will find one.

When i got the car there was no stereo in it. I have been going around to alot of places and the supposed 90 civic dash kits dont work they are double din kits and i got single.

I figured it out i was missing the stock plastic piece behind the counsel got one from the wrecking yard and slides right in. sounds good too!
