Heya everyone, it's my first post on this forum.
I have a 99 Civic EX, automatic tranny, 117k miles on it, 17'chrome rims, fresh red paint.
I just bought the car few days ago, i'm thinking about putting some work into it.
What would be a good, loud exhaust system for my car? I'm looking for something cheaper.
I'm posting few pix. What do you think about it? Any suggestions for next upgrades?

auto's do not sound good with an exhaust, you can hear the difference between the two.

I agree though with new wheels, and lowering.

So while I hate the rims, they don't look as bad as some, I think it is the color.....

The color is sick....

So sell the rims on Craigslist, then get some SI's or Rota's.... Slam it... Lip front and rear (color matched)

Take it to the car wash with some Engine Brite and clean your engine bay with a pressure washer....

Paint your Valve Cover...

Then do an auto to manual conversion with a motor swap
DONE!

Agreed but its not that the automatics sound bad with exhaust... Its the shifting that sounds like a**

Ditch the rims and lower that 'ish!

Honestly, I never understood why people put an aftermarket exhaust on a dseries anyhow. Auto or manual, they sound horrid.

I had a full exhaust on my old d-series auto, header, cat-back 2.5inch piping and i got a lot of compliments on how it sounded.

^ if he really likes the car and its mechanically sound and he wants a manual then he should just do an auto to manual swap and the last comment could have been worded a little better.

You're better off buying a manual then. Auto to manual conversions aren't cheap.
