My xbox is acting up again too... it's getting REALLY slow at some points.. looks like it's lagging horribly. The system isn't overheated though, the air coming out is still cool.
I played homefront for the first time a couple nights ago. SWEET game. It might be the fps that makes me switch away from CoD.

My COD Black Ops disc is somehow starting to crack in the center hole, and my console refuses to read it.
Joe, I read that Homefront was good, however it had a very short campaign and only two different modes for multiplayer.
Has anyone played Halo Reach? I LOVE playing campaigns, and am looking for something new.

Victor - yea, I'm honestly not looking for a campaign mode in my fps. I typically play campaign mode for the achievements and then forget about it... multiplayer is what racks up my play time. Yea, homefront does only have 2 modes, but I usually only play 2 modes in CoD, so I don't think that'll bother me much. I think there's a chance they'll add more modes in the future too, which would solve that problem.
Yea, I have/played halo reach. I got it fairly close to release day. It's a good game... if you like halo, it's more of the same, plus some new features that are nice. Really a great game.

i heard homefront really sucks by many people.
OMG homefront is such a let down! Its hard for me to even finish.... last time I've seen the problems this game shows is the ps1 era... You got floating dead bodies, disappearing objects, random bullets finding their way into your body when there is just no f**king way it could have hit you. The glitches almost overpower the good this game has to offer. I love the story, I'll give it that, but they could have put more into it. But whatever, its Kaos, its decent for them...
Anyone else see the trailer for Battlefield 3? The graphics look great. I have never played any of the Battlefield games, it might be time to give them a try. What does everyone else think of their past games? How would they compare to COD games?
Battlefield 3 looks friggen amazing. I've played every single battlefield game and I think DICE is heading on the right path. In terms of comparing to COD, Battlefield is more strategic and team-based. It's not your usual run-and-gun race to the top of the scoreboard Call of Duty game.
Battlefield is not more strategic. ive played both game a lot and i would never buy a Battlefield game. The singleplayer story is usually really good in BF, but the multiplayer lacks imo. I think you'll like BF more if your a sniper since thats all i ever come across in that game.
Im looking forward to L.A. Noire. That game looks beautiful! I cannot wait to waste many hours in that game.

Anyway, I'm considering buying myself a game that I REALLY want once I finish this semester as a reward for getting through the most stressful course work I've ever had to deal with (my teachers are complete douches this semester). The only problem is, I don't know what I REALLY want. lol. I'm considering Homefront, but I don't know...
