I played it online once, but only for two rounds. I had a LOT of fun with it... but my play time was very limited.

How is the realism of sniping in battlefield? One shot, one kill to chest/head? Any wind or distance dynamics? etc

ive never played homefront, was thinking about picking it up used so i could take it back. and havnt played battlefield either. they are coming out with a new one thats supposed to be killer though.

^^The only thing about buying homefront used, is that they make is so you can't get past level 5 in online play. So if you want to get into multiplayer and you care about ranking up, you gotta buy it new

Any of you guys play Sniper: Ghost Warrior? Good sniping multiplayer.. been playing it a lot lately. You can get it for like 20 bucks new.

i was hooked on battlefield 2 and the online was pretty fun. there are dynamics to sniping. no wind but there is bullet drop which is pretty cool. i play alot of call of duty and hate it but still play it. come november when the new battlefield comes out ill be done with COD for good. too many little kids on it. alot of older kids play BF cuz its more strategic and tactical. no gay killstreaks and s**t. plus the BF online was 16 v16 with 4 teams of 4 on each team. if you like FPS def try out BF.

I got it when it first came out. Never even tried the multiplayer, wasn't fond of the campaign at all. The sniping part of it was great, but it was WAYYYY too repetitive.

I don't know, fps solo play is just never exciting to me. I feel like every game is the same. The one exception is Halo, but even that I only find mildly interesting compared to multiplayer. I think I just need AI to get to a higher level. I don't like fighting "dumb" opponents.

I get what you're saying, it is hard to find a good campaign. I think co-op campaign makes it a lot better, and yes.....good AI helps a lot. The Halo campaigns were good.

There are killstreaks in BF and yes some of them are dumb. And how can it be strategic?? Ive never once gone into a game and heard a single person talking. Its always people just randomly going to where ever they want.

^^I feel like people are talking less and less in online games these days.... which I think is a shame. We play online games because we want to be playing with other real people, but it doesn't always feel real when nobody is talking and all their characters seem to be running around randomly.

I remember back when console games first started going online, EVERYBODY talked. It was a hell of a lot more fun too.

Yeah but now they have that party chat feature so everyone just uses that which is lame most times.

I always find that communication goes a LOOOOONG way when playing online, especially because more times than not....the other team isn't communicating. Everybody doesn't know what's going on, and it's very frustrating to be respawning while watching your teammate practically run in circles.

Which Battlefield are you even playing? None of them have killstreaks.
