Hi Everyone,
I recently bought my wife a 1990 Honda Civic GL 1500cc hatchback and no it wasn't her birthday! I thought I knew my cars but was pleasantly surprised to find the brake pedal sinking to the floor at lights and junctions just two weeks after purchase. Turned out to be a costly affair with disc rotos and master brake cylinder replaced and system bled. Then a couple of weeks back the thing wouldn't start which turned out to be the starter motor. So, I thought I would do some preventative maintenance and check the fluids, air filter and spark plugs. Thing is after pulling off the four spring clips I can't remove the air cleaner cover. It seems to be held on tight by something else. Is it just stuck and needs a bit more persuasion?
