So im thinking about painting my engine bay back black, my valve cover black, and my motor aluminum... then heat wrapping my header.... what do you guys think??? im also thinking about polishing out my wheels... give me some opinions guys,.,,
i like the gold, or do a silver/polished engine bay look, and have ur engine all polished up completely then make the VC black to match ur car.

I started working on the bay today... I plan on painting the motor silver, using scotch brite to clean up the header for now, later I will heat wrap it... and I am going to paint the valve cover black, anybody have any suggestions???

you should work with a bit of color. especially if you have a black car. I personally would use green ... takata green valve cover, the engine bay perhaps in the really dark purple...

so a buddy of mine just bought a 93 civic coupe, veilside widebody, diamond racing wheels, 0 offest, and got it cheap because it caught fire under the hood... we got it fixed yeterday, today he is bringin it up to clean it... and were gonna take some pics, ill post them later.... and i dunno about the takata green, and dark purple,.. the whole car is pretty much gold, black, and red...
I would go back to a black bay. And then do a red or maybe even a gold valve cover and then get some gold PWJDM fender washers. But dont go to crazy on them. I would say just on the fenders to accent the black.

that wouldnt be a bad idea if all of my fender washers werent already black... the only thing left on my car gold are the wheels,,, and since i have the asr brace, and function form lcs's i thought about just polishing the wheels out... just to tie all that together... its up in the air right now... i may strip the wheels and polish them.. and if I want the gold back, its only a trip to the paint store for more paint...
Well shoot if you are polishing everything do that to the washers and a VC

well my car is back together now... the stormy weather has prevented me from pulling it out and taking pictures, so I will take some tomorrow and post them up....
