There's a good chance. He's obviously put a lot of money into the vehicle and worked toward completing his own personal goal. That's all that matters imo.

while i agree the green civic is absolutely tacky and completely ridiculous, i simply cannot agree with the thread title's statement. if anything, less things should be illegal.

I don't think it looks that bad. Do i like it, no. Would i do my car that way, no. But i can certainly appreciate the work/craftsmanship/money put into it.
If that's what lifts his luggage then so be it. If he's happy with the way the car looks, then thats what matters.
