Got the clutch in, and 2/3 mounts in (didn't get the rear mount in), and didn't get the built head on.

Holy vibration for the mounts...

Also, is it common for a new clutch, when breaking it in, to have something like clutch chatter? Noticed when downshifting, if I have the pedal in right about where the clutch grabs, it seems to chatter. Not sure if it's that or the mounts, or what..

When driving the car runs and shifts perfectly though... :thumbs up can't wait to get the head on there..!

welcome to stiffer mounts! awesome on the install so far and you're gonna start noticing a lot more little things like this with the new mounts in. when i broke in my ACT heavy duty pressure plate and 6 puck sprung disk she definitely chattered a bit. with heavier duty pressure plates you will have harsh engagement unless you slip the living crap out of it, which i know isn't good sooo.. i rarely drive my car in any kind of traffic. But with some practice im sure you will find the sweet spot for "revs to clutch" or you'll replace a few clutch discs in the process :-) whens the head going on?

Yep, the grab point is 100% different now. Even more-so because we found out there was a missing bolt holding on the clutch pedal.. so when stepping on the pedal, the bracket would also move, so the pedal's grab point was nearly to the floor. Now with that bolt in, it's about 10% of the way in. It's like driving a completely new car lol. I do nothing but overrev... lol. Gotta get used to it!

And 3 weeks or so, hopefully. Busy with school, and the guy who helps me with everything (he has tools, I have 0 here), is 4 hours away... I left the head and the Fel-pro gasket set at his place.. just gotta drive over and get to work!

The only thing I'm worried about is timing, where and how the tuner had it set.. I do not want to mess it up. I should probably get it retuned anyways after swapping the head..

Sooo.. was driving earlier today, and car bogged down... wideband read max rich... (10.0).. when letting off the gas, it still read max rich...? smelt like gas too, and it was actually overheating a bit... drove it straight home (2 miles).

Turned off the car then back on, was idling lean (17 or so on the wideband). I held it to 2.5k steadily for a bit and it didnt change at all....

any ideas on this one and what to look for? Car has a hard time starting sometimes, and spark plugs look a LITTLE fouled.. but not too bad... recently changed oil, coolant, tranny fluid due to clutch swap... took car for spin and topped coolant off so I don't think that was causing the overheating....

Also jumped the connector, no CEL.
