It's a sick build, I agree some of the stuff is overkill and I already see lot's of things I would do differently but at the same time he's done a better job than I would be able to. I'm glad it's not coming out of my wallet but I'll be tuning in to see the progress.

I can't wait to see the final product. His attention to detail is absolutely insane.
He was restoring it to factory condition. Shaving the plate holes would have altered it from factory condition. Granted he did a few things that didn't come factory but I think most, if not all, of it was stuff you couldn't see...? License plate holes are clearly visible from outside.
Yeah I get that but still, it's such a minor thing and the little plugs look stupid. If you're not going to use a front plate and are doing all that body work anyways… It's a Civic, not a classic sports car. Still a sick build, just have to find something you pick at.
Hey may have to put a plate on there, but we'll see. He mentioned he wants to build is how he would want it to come from the factory.

Seems like he has a business so that's paying for it.Here's my take on it. Dude is spending the money to build a car he has always wanted and couldn't get from the factory. He's doing it the right way, unlike 99% of the members on here who do half assed s**t or buy the cheap s**t.

It is his money and it looks like he works hard for it. Why not spend it how he wants? I would love to have the money to do some of that. I wouldn't go that far overboard but there are probably things that I would do/have done, that he wouldn't agree with. Everyone's taste is different.
Have to admire his attention to detail though.
