It;s the piece that you screw your headlight into on the passenger side. We thought we pulled it back enough for the time being but after a week later I noticed it had broken my new headlights clips because it was still twisted and it was putting stress on it. You can probably see that the headlight is till pushed back a little bit from the front of the car. So we went to the junkyard with a sawzall and cut one off a straight sedan . Still haven't installed it yet, gonna wait till we pull the engine out so there's lotsa room.

So the place where I bought the rebuild kit was out of Gsr pistons but they offered me the ITR pistons they had in stock for the same price so I figured what the hell why not lol.

Plastigage, if you know what it is your probably pretty old

Honing (luckily for me gf's dad works at a machine shop with all the tools and ex mechanic coworkers necessary for me to get my block measured for free so since we were within spec just took it out and honed it.

And I gotta go to the bank and pick up a water pump so I'll be back later. Still got some pics till we catch up to where I am now

Maybe try changing the bulbs, I've taken the speedo out many times, just make sure not do break the dash bezel thing. All of mine work except for the D4 one so I know it's in drive when nothings lit up lol.

Amazing progress! I'm saving up for my swap too! I got an offer yesterday for $400 for an 98 LS engine with a free tranny (Has Synchro problems. Probably bad) But that's it. Hopefully it'll turn out good for the both of us!

Um update for today...Oh! Junk yards got a memorial day weekend sale where everything's 50% off, so I picked up some Ek sedan side skirts to slap on the Eg, also got a red spoiler for my buds gray 02 cougar which is currently gray and red cuz he got into a little accident so it should match the current scheme lol.

Yea buddy it's almost time to finish the rebuild, woulda had it done this weekend but my rebuild kit was missing the oil pickup seal. The smallest freakng gasket in the entire rebuild and they didn't give it to me so I picked it up from honda today lol.
