Supposedly, dancing is equal to picketing and terrorism.

Who resisted arrest? The only person who did any kind of resisting was the guy who tried to pull his friends arm away from the handcuffs. Everyone else pretty much turned around and put their hands behind their back while the cops were reaching for cuffs.I dont necessarily agree with the "punishment" given by security for their actions. But several of them got what they had coming, resisting is resisting. Even if they were being detained for "stupid" reasons.
It may have been excessive but hey he had it coming eventually as much as he's pushed the limits of right/wrong lol.I dont think dancing is protesting either. If I saw a bunch of hippies dancing, Id join in because I smoke just like them. lol. I don't like/know the guy but the whole thing about getting arrested(violently) for dancing and speaking my mind is just wrong.
If in fact that turns out to be true, this nation is ridiculousI hope the officers had fun because they won't be working as cops anytime soon.
yes, but the cops also pushed those same limitsIt may have been excessive but hey he had it coming eventually as much as he's pushed the limits of right/wrong lol.
I know riteI hope the officers had fun because they won't be working as cops anytime soon.

They were arresting people who hadn't come close to committing any type of crime. I agree with you that it wasn't excessive force but there was still zero justification for any of those arrests in the first place. The officer who seemed to be in charge was obviously irritated about what was going on and took matters into his own hands. They should have stood to the side and watched to make sure there was no vandalism or actual crimes taking place and let them be until the memorial was closed. I have no idea what the protest was about but it doesn't make a difference, people have a right to peaceful protest. I don't know what the rules are regarding Parks Police but I didn't hear a single Miranda Rights either. If in fact that turns out to be true, this nation is ridiculous
That's exactly right. It looked like that one cop in the beginning of the video was the one in charge. Maybe some of the younger cops were only following orders and can keep their jobs but wow, that was bad.Power tripping mother f***ers.
