Civic vs prelude vs integra

This is really all relative and the answer is dependent to each individual owner.
Reliability- they are all Honda's- this is a flat comparison.
Speed- I would take the integra (imagining they are all stock and the teg is a GSR)
Gas mileage- Again, they are all Honda's.
Handling- The 5g Civic and Teg would be equal since they stand on the same chassis for the most part. The Prelude is more comfort.
Customization- This all really depends on your wallet. but Civic and teggy will have more afterm arket options from what I can remember/seen.
Like I said. No one person will be able to tell you an answer. Weigh out your options on which car you like in stock form. and go from there, where do you want to go, all show? all go? Hellflush? Etc.
Idk how much more the Preludes weigh than Tegs but I do know that H series has more power than B series. So Preludes take that category (stock, duh).
Cosmetically speaking, Hondas (in my opinion) look the best of those 3 choices. But everyone has their own opinion you just need to find out what YOU want. I agree with ImThaBean, weigh out all your options and go from there. Find what tickles your pickle the most!

Yeah if your not planning on doing a swap and you want some power then you should definitely stay away from the civic. After that it just matters how much cash you have to play around with because while it's true that the teg has more aftermarket support, if your doing it right and getting quality stuff then it should still cost you a good amount. If you have the capability of doing a swap I say go civic cuz I mean come on look what site your on lol
good question. and most answers are very good. they dont realy specify on the gas mileage of each of the cars. of course the civic gets 25-31 mpg depending on the car. as for the other two, it will be interesting fact to know before buying.

Yeah I'm def gunna go all n/a no boost or motor swap. I agree the civic is the best looking and from I understand it's the easiest to find parts for but it's so weak in my opinion. The prelude looks like a pregnant skateboard and I hate the Lights of the teg. But I'm thinking of either going with the lude or just doing a front end swap for the teg to have it look like the imported one I forget what it's called..

I would say, go with the civic. If you want a fifth gen and if you have the room to do a motor swap, I'd say get a low mileage b-series or k-series(depending on budget). Both engine and trans. Do it yourself and make sure you do it right the first time or it will cost you money in the future. Don't buy a engine swapped car without knowing the person very well and known/watched him/her swap the engine.
If you can't do the swap yourself, but still want a civic, would do you think of newer gens? The EM1, EP3, and across seas civics do have more power than the normal LX/HX/CX/DX/EX have. They're so light that the power it does make, makes it a somewhat fast car(I want one myself).

If you want a fifth gen civic, I don't blame ya, I loved mine alot at first. I just didn't look enough, I jumped at it when I saw it. To many problems including a huge cancer tumor on the rear panel. I love that paintcolor so bad, but, after I got sick of the D, I searched again and found an EM1 all stock that I liked. I couldn't get a loan in time. He let me cruise for like an hour, where ever I wanted to go and whatever I wanted to do. So, I took it on the freeway, I loved the ride, it got up in speed so quick that I didn't have a better day driving a civic, I miss driving my aunt's 07 TL though.
All in all, if you want a Civic, look for a 99-00 or 02-03 Si, they're quick and they look sweet in my mind. If you don't like the interior and if it's possible, swap back to fifth gen interior, again, I'm sure that will work without heavy modification. As for interior, I've since people do some crazy stuff to the bodies of the EM1 to make it look like a fifth gen.
Sorry for the rant, but a fifth gen is nice, but without a swap, it will get boring without any bolt-ons(which doesn't do much to a D) or going N/A.

Yeah a motorswap is out of the question honestly. I'm a college student paying bills and school with a part time job so I'm tight on money. Which means newer models and expensive upgrades aren't gunna happen. I have the ej1 right now and it's alright with an aftermarket intake and exhaust but I need more you know? Nothin too crazy like turbo power but I'm looking into the prelude seeing as that's the car I wante in the first place. Is there a certain model or trim I should look at?
Personally, for a prelude, I would go with a 92-96. The H22 is a very nice engine. Trim-wise, I'd go with the VTEC model. Don't be confused, they all have VTEC but unlike the S(which is single cam)and the Si(which doesnt have as much hp[H23]) the VTEC has the most hp from those years.
If you want a third gen, I'd say go with a US Si. It pushes, 145 hp. The only engine with more hp is one of the europe versions.

That's what I'm saying. Even if your budget is small you can pick one of these up pretty cheap and they are significantly nicer than the older model.
And that's what I'm saying, I always had a thing for preludes, my cousin owned a 96, man was it fast.
As much as I love Civics if it were me, that would be my last choice. You didn't mention what generation Integra you were considering but I'd take a 94+ up Integra or 92-96 Prelude over a 92-95 Civic in a second. I like 5th gen Civics but to me the coupes and sedans were always a little boring and unless you're getting an Si or swapped car, the hatchbacks were horribly slow. With an Integra you get a DOHC motor and IMO better styling than the Civic. With the Prelude, you also get a better motor and it's definitely a lot sportier. There aren't as many aftermarket parts for the Prelude but there are still lots of things you can do, especially if you're not looking to do all that much.
The 92-95 Si had a D16.
Yeah I know that, it was at least decent though, same as an EX coupe or sedan. My point wasn't that the Si was great, it was that any non-Si hatchback was unbearably slow. I'm currently swapping a '95 CX motor into my '97 sedan, lol. 70 horsepower, woo hoo!
I say stick with what you have. You're in college, save the money and get something better when you're done.
