Cluster/Shifter Light

Ok I'm once again posting a thread becuz im a noob and I need lots of help. Any how The shifter(thing inside car on autos that says P R N D4 D3 2 1) does not light up and I wondering how to take it off so I can get the light bulb if any. Also the cluster lights for the P R N D4 D3 2 1 only the P and R light up at night so wondering where I could get a replacement part for that or how to fix it. Also please don't tell to replace my dimmer switch or make sure it all the way up becuz I have done both already. Im not that much of a noob

I don't think the actual shifter is supposed to light up, at least mine never has, as for the the cluster lights I don't know the exact bulb size but its pretty easy to pull it outta the dash

Idk about the 5th gen, in the 6th gen you have to pretty much remove the entire center console to get to that bulb below the gear changer.

If I remember right, the bulb on the console that lights up the drive selection panel is just a 3w peanut bulb. 2821?

Yea thats wat i was thinkin becuz it so old. But I kno the one behind the cluster is supposed for sure I'll post the pic of wat the thing look like becuz I took it out before and its not a reular light bulb is this thing that look lik a one with lights in it. hard to describe please check around 10am and ill have the pic for it

Cluster bulbs should look something along the lines of these.

Thanks everyone for help I switched out the dimmer switch again with a new one now all the lights work. All of the lights all of the lights - kanye west. thanks again everyone

The bulbs on your shifter do light up. Mine do in my 93 auto hatch. You'd probably just have to take that console out on the floor and pop the shifter plate out. Idk. never took it apart before.

Yea I forgot to mention they also light up becuz of the new dimmer switch.

Shifter console and gauge cluster looked hella dirty!
