Just starting up a thread in the 6th gen section so that i dont stay in the new to site section adding pics as i update.

Bought her in 04 while i was still in the army with 65k miles on her. as of today shes at about 129.5k

In the process of gettin rid of the tsunami kit and projectors. after thats done will move on to switchin from tokico blues+eibach springs to get Skunk2 shocks and springs as well as S2 rear LCA's and bar.

also was looking at either the Eibach or Progress anti roll bar kits in the CC store, anyone use either that can give input?

oh btw. shes a 99 SI

ordered oem style steel hood to replace faded CF hood.......and this is how it came out of the box

they gave me $30 compensation

I'd keep the eibach springs, paint the new body parts back to yellow and call it a day. That sucks about the hood though. good luck on the de-rice.

yeah i was thinkin bout keepin the eibach springs but hoping for a lil more of a drop with the S2's. once i have all the body parts replaced its gonna get re-painted Y-56.

That was actually one of the better looking body kits I've seen haha. Looking good minus the new hood, thats straight bull dude. Anyway you should try to touch up the cf hood and you could probably get a couple bucks for it on craigslist. Oh and I'd get rid of the eyelids too, they look faded and also just kinda weird with the stock bumper, So are you going skunk 2 coilovers or actually a spring and shock setup?

yeah the hood pissed me off, got off work all happy to install it, opened it and wanted to throw it across the parking lot. the projectors+eyebrows are both coming off. got some CTR replicas on the way to replace them. still debating on finding the time to do the hood or just sell it as is locally for like $50 or some crap like that.

as far as the skunk2 suspension, gonna go with shock+spring. coil overs are awesome but ive never been one to wanna change the ride height. drop it and leave it.

looking good. that yellow actually looks really nice. That gauge shot, apart from the yellow part and blue numbers, is the exact cluster that I want.

Glad to see they painted everything And what did you do with that faded C/F hood? I am actually looking for one and it looks like it fit right nice. Oh, and I have a couple cluster trim parts if you are looking...lol. And cut him some slack, back in 2004 when he got the car people were still rockin' body kits pretty hard. Not everyone, but there were still a lot of people in that scene. He's converting it back now so its all good

@mportedcivicsi i have the CF hood sittin in a closet at the moment. i have no clue what im gonna do with it.

BTW. does anyone know where i could find the REAR red H emblem that doesnt cost $50 or am i just gonna have to suck it up and pay that much?

I'd rock the cluster if the yellow wasn't there. It matches the car though so it looks good on ur car. If you're willing to, just take your current one and paint it.

im good with the hood i got, it fit great, just has some damage on the corners still where i straightened them out what i could. and i live bout 45 mins south of nashville, i know, only saying general area, but in an open forum thats as much as i wanna say lol.

i tried goin to em1crew.com and it just brings up some generic site page with a listing to find stuff.
